NaITER in association with Sree Sankara Vidyapeetom School, Nagaroor conducted a summer vacation camp for students named Summer Heaven 2k23 and a Teachers Training Programme named Mastery on 9th, 10th and 11th April 2023 at Sree Sankara Vidyapeetom School auditorium, Nagaroor.
Day 1 (09-04-2023)
Inaugural Function
The function was presided by Mr. Anoop Kumar M, PTA President and the welcome speech was delivered by Mrs. Maya Devi, honourable Principal of Sree Sankara Vidyapeetom School, Nagaroor. Mr. Sujith Edwin Perera, Director of NaITER has given a brief introduction about the three days camp and schedule. Felicitation was done by Mr. Vishnu Prasad M V, Deputy Director Academic, NaITER and the function come to end with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Reshmi, Staff Secretary.
Sessions for Students
The first session started at 10 am and it was handled by Mr. Biju Mavelikara, South Zone Program Coordinator, Master Trainer and Infotainment People Facilitator, NaITER on the topic Ice Breaking and getting to know each other (ഒന്നാകാം ഒന്നിച്ചാക്കം). The session came to an end at 11 am.
The second session was on the topic Life Skills (എരിവും പുളിയും ജീവിത നൈപുണ്യ പാഠങ്ങൾ) and which was handled by Mr. Vasanth Krishnan, Deputy Director, Administrative, NaITER. The session started at 11:15 am and ended at 1:00 pm.
The third was an one hour session on the topic Fly High (ഉയർന്നു പറക്കാം). The session was carried out by Mrs. Priya V N, Certified Life skills and soft skills Trainer, Mr. Hans Haris, Certified life skills and soft skills Trainer, Mr. Chandralal, Certified life skills and soft skills Trainer and Mr. Vishnu S S, Certified life skills and soft skills Trainer.
Next session was handled by Certified life skills and soft skills Trainers, Mr. Thamimul Ansari, Mr. Arun Gopal, Mr. Hans Haris and Ms. Akhila Chandran J C on the topic “Personality Development”. The session lasted for one hour.
The last session was Life Skills Workshop which was conducted by Mr. Vishnu Prasad M V, Deputy Director Academics NaITER, Mr. Vasanth Krishnan S, Deputy Director Administrative NaITER, Mr. Biju Mavelikara, South Zone Program coordinator NaITER, Mr. Narayanan Nampoothiri V E, Certified life skills and soft skills Trainer Mr. Hans Haris, Certified life skills and soft skills Trainer and Ms. Akhila Chandran J C, Secretary for Director, NaITER.
Sessions for Teachers
The first session was on the topic Ice breaking and Classroom Engagement which was handled by Mr. Biju Mavelikara, South Zone Program Coordinator, Master Trainer and Infotainment People Facilitator, NaITER.
The second session was carried out by Mr. Thamimul Ansari, Certified life skills and soft skills Trainer on the topic Classroom Management: How to handle students? It was a one-hour session.
The last session on the day was on the topic Classroom Engagement Techniques which lasted for one hour. The session was done by Mr. Vasanth Krishnan S, Deputy Director Administrative, NaITER.
